Crime-Free Multi-Housing
Crime-Free Multi-Housing Program
The Crime Free Multi-Housing Program is a state-of-the-art, crime prevention program designed to reduce crime, drugs and gangs on apartment properties. The program was developed in 1992 and is now implemented internationally as a proven crime reduction strategy. The program consists of three phases that must be completed under the supervision of the local police department. Both the property managers and properties can become certified after completing training in each of the three phases. The benefits to properties include reduced police calls for service, a more stable resident base, and reduced exposure to civil liability.
