Chief Deputy: Emily Grasch

Emily takes care of petitions and helps residents get the information they need. If you have questions about things like drainage project details or specifications, she’ll make sure you’re connected with the right engineer.

Financial Analyst: Megan Boos

Megan keeps track of all the drain fund accounts—each one has its own record! She also helps create Capital Improvement Plans for townships, sends out assessments and invoices, and handles anything money-related.

Senior Secretary: Tia Lesinski

Tia plans the Board of Determination meetings and makes sure all the legal paperwork is in order during the petition process. She’s also in the loop on most of our office projects, so she’s a great person to go to with general questions.

Clerk: Melisa Takens

When you call our main line, there’s a good chance you’ll talk to Melisa first! She directs calls to the right people, helps with invoicing for development reviews, takes soil erosion payments, and assists with drain use permits.

Drain Inspector: Adam Hughey

Adam is out in the field handling drain complaints, maintenance questions, and drain use permits. If it involves inspecting or maintaining a drain, he’s your guy!

Development Coordinator: Jessica Pieri

Jessica is your go-to person for anything related to development reviews. She works closely with our amazing team of engineers. If you have any questions about the development process, easements, or how developments turn into county drains, don’t hesitate to reach out to Jessica!

Stormwater Technician: Dustin Havinga

Dustin is dedicated to making sure our Geographic Information System (GIS) is super accurate, which helps us keep track of all our drainage systems. If you have any questions about easements for single homes or encroachment agreements, Dustin is here to help!

MS4 Analyst: Evan Canute

Evan is in charge of our WRC’s MS4 program, which is an important requirement from the state. He takes care of maintaining catch basins, ponds, and agreements for developments. Plus, he organizes our fun drain clean-ups! If you have questions about stormwater management, Evan’s your guy.

Erosion Control Agent: Jon Braxmier

Jon oversees our sediment and erosion program for the county. If you’re unsure whether you need a soil erosion permit, feel free to reach out to Jon for guidance!
