Lead Poisoning Information
We care about your child’s health. Michigan now requires all children to be tested for lead at 12 and 24 months of age, and at other times if they might be exposed to lead. Your child’s doctor will order this important test and direct you where to have it done. Please note that our health department does not perform lead testing. If your child’s results show too much lead, we are here to help you get the care they need. If you have questions, please call our clinic at (616) 396-5266.
